Using Ad-Hoc Network

Using a computer-to-computer (Ad-Hoc) network can help quickly determine if the Wi-Fi syncing problem is related to the network. Note: If you are using an iPhone, it might be necessary to place the device in Airplane Mode in order to connect to the ad hoc network. You can enable Airplane Mode in the Settings application.

On Leopard you can do this via System Preferences > Network.

Select Create Network from the Network Name dropdown

Type the name of the network

Click OK and make sure that the status is On

On the iPhone, open Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the network that you just created

Sync

After the network connection has been established, start the 1Password iPhone application and try to sync again.

If the sync was successful then you need to check your current local Wi-Fi network settings. If the sync failed then the problem is related to something else.
