Moving your 1Password data to a different directory

Please follow these steps:

1. Quit 1Password for Windows and any running web browsers.

2. In Windows Explorer, drag the folder named 1Password.agilekeychain to the new location.

3. Launch 1Password for Windows.

4. On the General tab of 1Password preferences, click the ”…” button.

5. In the Browse for Folder dialog, find and select the 1Password.agilekeychain folder in its new location; then click the OK button.

6. Back in the Preferences dialog box, confirm that the Location field shows the full path to the moved folder (something like C:…\1Password.agilekeychain); then click the OK button.

Note: The folder name must end with .agilekeychain; otherwise, 1Password will not recognize it as a valid data set. We strongly recommend leaving it named 1Password.agilekeychain.
