Using your 1Password data away from your PC
We know you probably love your own computer, but sometimes you have to use something else. Lucky you—you still have access to your 1Password data, even when you’re not sitting in front of your computer.
Take your data with you
There are a couple of ways you can take your 1Password data with you, so you always have access to your information:
-
If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can sync to one of the 1Password apps.
-
You can use 1PasswordAnywhere to decrypt and view your Agile Keychain, whether it’s stored online in a service like Dropbox or copied to a USB flash drive.
Note: Strong passwords are optional
1Password generates strong passwords that are unguessable, which is great for security; but those passwords are also impossible to remember, and that can be a problem if you travel without your computer or your 1Password data. Although we highly recommend using strong, randomly generated passwords, they are optional. You may decide to use slightly more memorable passwords on certain sites that you need to be able to log in to without any help from 1Password.
