Adding new items

The recommended way to create a new Login item is through the browser extension, as described in Saving a Login.

For other item types, though, just launch 1Password, and click the toolbar button for the type of item you want to create.

For some item types, you’ll also need to specify the subtype.

In the dialog that appears, change the default name, and fill in the remaining fields as needed; then click the OK button.
